Disc Golf Comes to Hollis Park District

       Tuscarora Park has an 18 Hole Disc Golf course on which was installed by Plastic Addicts Disc Golf Supplies owner Johnnie Harrison and course designer Kip Taufer. The first 9 holes were installed in the fall of 2016 and the other 9 were added the summer of 2018.

       This course is very challenging with a fun layout for all skill levels to play. Five of the holes are out in the open but require an accurate shot to reach the target. The course includes 3 very picturesque disc golf holes up on Reeder’s Knob with the other holes nestled in the hills and trees on the other side of the creek. If one isn’t careful they could end up in the creek and out of bounds. The mix of uphill, downhill, dog leg right and left give this course a great variety and will require you to think about every shot to score well. The total distance for the course is approximately 2695 feet.
